Hetco Uganda, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life in vulnerable communities and we are focused on where we can have the most impact in the areas of Health, Professional development, sexual and reproductive health and rights and counseling and guidance. As Non-profit organization, our strongest desire and resolution is an obligation to positively impact our community by empowering, supporting & strengthening their lives through our designed campaigns, programs and projects, we aim at making a meaning dierence in the communities where live and work.

HETCO Uganda focuses on health awareness as a catalyst for disease prevention. We believe that empowering individuals and communities with accurate health information promotes healthier lifestyles, reduces preventable illnesses, and improves overall wellbeing. Through education, outreach, and advocacy, we strengthen public health knowledge, encouraging informed decisions for safer, healthier, more resilient communities across Uganda for future generations through collaborative action.

HETCO Uganda advocates for sexual and reproductive health and rights, promoting comprehensive sex education in schools to empower students with accurate knowledge about their bodies and development. We support family planning services to improve socio-economic wellbeing in communities through health camps and outreach programs that provide essential sexual and reproductive health information and services. Our efforts promote healthier informed communities.

HETCO Uganda empowers individuals and groups with skills that inspire positive change through collective action and innovative solutions to community challenges. We focus on reducing poverty by promoting entrepreneurship, professional development, and practical skills training. Through various programs and projects, we equip boys, girls, and community members with knowledge to manage businesses, create opportunities, and improve their living standards sustainably.

HETCO Uganda provides counseling and guidance services that promote positive behavioral change at both individual and community levels. Through mentorship, awareness programs, and psychosocial support, we empower people to make informed decisions, strengthen personal values, and become responsible, productive citizens who contribute positively to their families, communities, and the nation’s sustainable development.

Using ICT as a primary tool, HETCO Uganda conducts research, develops innovative ideas, and transforms them into practical solutions that empower communities. Our initiatives equip individuals with valuable digital and technical skills, enabling them to improve productivity, create employment opportunities, and earn sustainable livelihoods. We are committed to fostering innovation, knowledge, and inclusive community development through technology.

Hetco Uganda oers bedside nursing services to patients and family that lack professional health care givers to take care of their patients. We have proesional nurses and midwives, physiotherapists and other professions that follow under the same category that can assist in giving the best health care that every patient would need while in hospital and at home in particular

Hetco Uganda is Health Education talks Consultants Organization Which was established in 2022 as a
community based organization ( CBO) and registered as a company limited by Guarantee as Hama
Health Education Consultant Organization ( Hetco) Uganda in 2023 which is aiming at NGO
Through focusing on health awareness, sexual and reproductive health,professional development ,
research and innovation we are committed to helping the Youth, teenagers pregnant mothers,
children, refuges, adolescents, elderly, and all other vulnerable groups of people too be able to live
up to their dreams

HETCO Uganda was initiated and founded by a team of health professionals and later
joined by team of non-health workers who had the same desire to create an impact in the
lives of the community members.

OUR OBJECTIVES HETCO UGANDA

1. To promote health awareness within communities in order to promote public health
2. Engage research and innovation in the elds of health and science
3. Facilitate carrier guidance and mentorship in institutions of learning with the
communities
4. Provision of counseling and guidance services to the community
5. Disease screening and surveillance
6. Provision of elderly and disabled special care and training and establishment of
elderly homes
7. Provide bedside nursing services as an incomes generating venture for the
organization to supplement on the funds to run the organisation
8. To lobby for educational opportunities and scholarships for the underprivileged
members of society
9. To ensure sustainable natural resource management and environmental and health
protection by building community capacity to adapt and mitigate the eects of
health disasters an epidemics and catastrophes.
10.To solicit and coordinate internal and external resource mobilization for community
health and development activities
11.To promote social inclusions in programming and implementation of activity that
ensures equitable distribution of resources and active participations by both males
and females through gender mainstreaming in health programs
12.To promote mental health and to ensure public awareness of the risk and dangers of
drugs, alcoholic abuse and domestic violence through public training and education
13.To contribute to the improvement of community health practices through
promotion of water sanitation, hygiene and primary health care practices in
households and community level
14.To advocate and lobby for the sexual; health rights of children and other special
interests group0ds in the community
15.To strengthen investment and purchasing powers of participating households by
improving saving cultures in community through and increase access to productive
resources
16.To promote employment creation opportunities for youth through support for
vocational and business skill development training
17.To ensure both internal and external coordination, collaboration and consultation
through a formal and functional network with various development stakeholders
and institutions in lobby and advocacy issues to promote human rights and social
protection.
